In a latest multi-year agreement, Castrol, a sponsor of Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing since 2019, has extended and renewed its partnership with the squad.
Castrol will increase its presence on owner/racer Keselowski’s No. 6 Ford while continuing to be the team’s official oil sponsor.
Additionally, Castrol will be a main partner on both RFK entrants in 2023, promoting the Castrol Edge brand.
Steve Newmark, president of RFK Racing, said, “We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with Castrol, as they have been an invaluable partner for our organization in every aspect of our business.”
“Their leading, best in class lubricants and technology have helped to improve our performance on the track, leading us back to Victory Lane last season, along with many other strong runs.
“Off the track, our collaboration around sustainability continues to generate feedback across our sport and beyond.”
Eight races, the first at Auto Club Speedway in February and the last in the season-ending race at Phoenix in November, will see Keselowski’s No. 6 Ford compete under the Castrol color.
Three events in 2023 will include Chris Buescher’s No. 17 Ford racing in the Castrol colors: the Richmond race in the spring, the Michigan race, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.
In 2023, Buescher will compete in his eighth full Cup Series season and is coming off the best season of his career, which included 10 top-10 finishes and a victory at the Bristol Night Race. In his second year as co-owner and racer at RFK, Keselowski will compete in the Cup Series for the fourteenth time in total.
