Start time, entry list, and more for the 2022 NASCAR at Watkins Glen

2022 NASCAR Watkins Glen

For the sixth and final race of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series regular season, NASCAR is returning to motorsport.

2022 NASCAR Watkins Glen

The gorgeous New York State roadway track will once again host NASCAR with only two races remaining in the regular season. Only one week after ending a 65-race unbeaten race, Kevin Harvick went back-to-back with his second championship of the year at Richmond.

Martin Truex Jr. is just outside the playoffs, while Ryan Blaney is still in play. A victory would guarantee their spots, but Truex might have a chance to advance if he passes Blaney in the rankings.

As he fought Harvick for the lead late at Richmond, Christopher Buescher—as we’re now referring to him—very nearly became the 16th new winner. Blaney and Truex would both be in a must-win scenario if one of the racers outside the top-16, such as Buescher, were to triumph at WGI or Daytona.
