Kyle Larson dominates practice at the Vegas Cup

On Saturday at Las Vegas Grand Speedway, Kyle Larson set the pace during the NASCAR Cup practice session.

In the opening 20-minute practice, Larson recorded the quickest average lap pace of 184.407 mph. The first racetrack practice produced the fastest overall speeds.

Joey Logano (183.942 mph) and Ryan Blaney (183.973 mph), both members of Team Penske, finished second and third, respectively.

William Byron and Chris Buescher completed the top five. Bubba Wallace was sixth quickest overall after leading the second 20-minute session.

B.J McLeod and Tyler Reddick did not participate in the practice rounds.

Among the racers who finished a minimum of ten consecutive laps, Byron’s average pace was the quickest (182.598 mph). In that category, Larson and Aric Almirola came in second and third, respectively.
