F1 results following the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Verstappen fights back against Leclerc

After winning the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen has closed the distance on Charles Leclerc in the Formula One rankings.
Max Verstappen scored a difficult victory in Saudi Arabia after retiring in the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.
After another dramatic battle between Red Bull and Ferrari drivers, Verstappen recently defeated Charles Leclerc to the chequered flag on the streets of Jeddah.
Only Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who finished third on Sunday night, are ahead of the defending World Champion.
In the Drivers’ Championship, Leclerc now leads teammate Sainz by 12 points, and Verstappen eight points behind. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, both of Mercedes, are fourth and fifth, respectively.
In terms of the teams, Ferrari has a 40-point lead over Mercedes, with Red Bull a further point behind in third.
