As the second and last pre-season test in Bahrain came to a close, Max Verstappen and Red Bull dominated the timesheets.
Max Verstappen set a string of fast performances in the latter stages of Saturday’s race in Bahrain, finishing convincingly first in the 2022 pre-season.
Verstappen improved his time to 1:31.720 on the Soft C5 rubber to finish seven tenths ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc (C4) and Alpine driver Fernando Alonso (C4).
