Monaco Grand Prix is scheduled until 2025

The Automobile Club of Monaco and Formula 1 have come to terms for the legendary race to remain on the calendar for the upcoming 3 years.

Following the release of the 2023 schedule, Formula 1 also announced that the Monaco Grand Prix would continue to be held until 2025.

The legendary race around the streets of Monte-Carlo will go on as reported earlier by RacingNews365 after F1 and the Automobile Club of Monaco signed a new three-year agreement (ACM).

Despite it historically being one of the cheapest available races on the calendar for spectators to attend, part of the contract will result in increased ticket prices compared to past years.

“I am pleased to confirm that we will be racing in Monaco until 2025 and excited to be back on the streets of this famous Principality for next year’s Championship,” stated Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1.

“I want to thank everyone involved in this renewal and especially H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Michel Boeri, President of the Automobile Club of Monaco and all his team. We look forward to being back next season to continue our partnership together.”

ACM President: Three-year agreement “likely to be renewed”

The agreement was reached after “many months of negotiations,” according to Michel Boeri, president of the Automobile Club of Monaco.

“We are proud to announce that we have signed a 3-year agreement with Formula One, and it is likely to be renewed,” he continued, “in the interest of the Formula One World Championship and after several months of negotiations.”

The Formula One Monaco Grand Prix will take place on May 28th, 2023.
