At Zandvoort, the accident took place at the beginning of the second practice session.

The Formula 1 officials have called Nico Hulkenberg in relation to an incident with Max Verstappen during Dutch Grand Prix practice.

Verstappen drove effortlessly around Zandvoort during the second practice session in the RB19, but he had to avoid traffic in the last sector of the lap.

Verstappen was getting ready to begin a timed lap when Hulkenberg, one of those cars, slowed down to make space for Lando Norris’ McLaren.

Verstappen was then required to slam on the brakes to keep from rear-ending the Haas as he approached at top speed.

Due to the situation, Hulkenberg and the Haas team member will be required to go before the stewards at 17:30 local time, which is 30 minutes after the finish of Free Practice 2.

The crew members have also been asked to see Verstappen and the Red Bull team representative.
