Norris introduces a special basketball-inspired helmet for Miami

To remember his time in the United States, Lando Norris will wear a distinctive racing helmet inspired by basketball for the Miami Grand Prix.

For the first Miami Grand Prix, Lando Norris has unveiled a fantastic new helmet of basketball theme.

For the race at the Miami International Autodrome, the talented Briton, who finished third last time out at Imola, will wear a Basketball-inspired attire.

He has spent much of the time leading up to the Miami Grand Prix playing golf at Michael Jordan’s Florida course.

As Formula One approaches for what may be its largest event ever in the United States, he has decided to pay tribute to Jordan’s sport with his new helmet.

Norris: ‘That would make a cool helmet!’

Norris discussed the style’s inspiration on LandoNorris.com, where a half-scale version of the helmet may be bought.

He has said: “I saw some people playing basketball one time, and I thought, damn, that’d make for a cool helmet. So I did it.

“It has some cool details on it, like my signature, my logo and my name in black with a nice neon outline.”
