Even if the 2022 F1 season has only just ended, planning for the following season are currently under way. George Russell has indeed visited Mercedes for a seat fitting.
Mercedes shared video of George Russell getting a seat fitting to provide followers a preview into the 2023 Formula One season’s plans.
Even though the 2022 season may have just currently ended, preparations for the upcoming year are already well under way.
Russell is shown visiting the facility to get accustomed to a mock-up of his seat for the team’s 2023 car in a Silver Arrows clip.
The video doesn’t reveal much about what to anticipate from the W14, but one modification that stands out is the roll hoop’s appearance, which was modified as a result of Zhou Guanyu’s collision at the British Grand Prix.
