Leclerc is on the verge of breaking two Formula One records

With 2 victories in three races, the Ferrari driver has indeed built up a 34-point lead in the World Championship.
With the first F1 Sprint of the season going to take place this weekend, he has a chance to add to his score even more than before.
If all goes according to plan, Leclerc may have the greatest points (105) and the most dominant lead (43+ points) after 4 rounds of an F1 season.
Rosberg’s record is up for grabs
Nico Rosberg now holds the record, having won the first 4 races of the 2016 season to lead title opponent Lewis Hamilton by 43 points with 105 points.
His record-breaking points total was aided by a modification to the points-scoring system in 2010, which increased the payout for winning to 25 points.
From 2019, the racer who completes the quickest qualifying lap receives an extra point (so long as they place inside the top 10 come the chequered flag).
