Following the passing of Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz, the squad had a difficult weekend. Christian Horner complimented his squad for winning the 2022 Constructors’ Championship at the United States Grand Prix.
In an emotional episode that Red Bull posted, Christian Horner reflected on the team’s road to achieving the 2022 Constructors’ Championship.
The Milton Keynes-based team won the Constructors’ Championship in the United States Grand Prix in the wake of Max Verstappen’s Drivers’ Championship triumph in Japan last time around.
The squad experienced a difficult weekend since the win came one day after the passing of Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz.
After their victory, the team released video in which Horner praised their efforts while showcasing various team members who worked in different departments.
Before honoring the championships to Mateschitz at the end of the film, Horner adds, “They’ve really risen to this challenge this year, and it’s something that every member of the team can be very, very proud of.”
